Big Bees

The dandelions clearly got some quality slurry a few weeks ago.

Last night moved the two biggest hives down a level so as to make it easier when inspecting.

Will be interesting to see how long the dandelions are allowed to bloom. The farmers are no doubt itching to mow but the very heavy rain of the last few days will make most pastures off limits. Tomorrow with temperatures well over 20°C and possibly getting to 30°C before thunderstorms and more rain tomorrow evening might force many to risk it tomorrow.

Hope not - the bees are enjoying themselves at the moment.
