Deluge!

I've gotten a little obsessive about rain. We have had a 50 gallon rain barrel in our backyard for 3 or 4 years. Until my husband designed the outdoor set up for hydroponic tomatoes, that one rain barrel was enough. When we get a good rain, the barrel fills up in 10 minutes flat, and we were basically using the water for our indoor and outdoor plants. It was more than enough. The tomatoes, however, have been using 10 to 15 gallons of water a day! We found ourselves filling the rain barrel from the garden hose every two to three days in order to keep up with the tomatoes' demands. So when it started raining today, I grabbed every large plastic container I could find and put it under a drip from the roof. By the time to storm was over, they were all full!
