Friendly

I went to a going away party for a friend who is moving out of state. The party was in a pavilion in a park just down the street from her house. I was early, and the first to arrive, so took out my folding chair to sit and wait for everyone else. I'd been seated for about 30 seconds when this cat came running out of the bushes and jumped into my lap to be petted. Her collar said her name was Lulu, and when I called the phone number on her tag, her owner said they lived in one of the houses adjacent to the park and Lulu likes to hang out there. Lulu spent the entire evening with us, making herself entirely at home, sleeping on the picnic blanket and trying to steal food from everyone!
