Stornoway on Stage at the Stables
After a day spent clearing out stuff from the garage, and another day trying to make enough space to fit the car back in to the garage (how can getting rid of stuff lead to less space?), it was off to Cleo's Gaff to catch up with Stornoway. Front row seats (the closest middle-class MK gets to a mosh pit). They played really well. Not such a rock atmosphere as the last time I saw them (I can't get the link to work but 25/11/13 on NickMog's journal - or search for Stornoway on Blip and look for ET) but a good evening. The support was a young, local guy called Charlie Cunningham. He played almost flamenco-style guitar to accompany his songs. I thought "C will like him because he'll remind her of our M". Later, C said that she liked him. Because he reminded her of our M.
