Torrential rain reflected my mood today as dealt with all the really-bad-paperwork ive been avoiding. Miserable

Looks like poor Ada here has had a chomp out of her feathers. Don't know what by but little R may have found the culprit when she spotted a very large mouse. Eh no, checks on CCTV show a nasty big rat which is no surprise living next to a river and a farm with chicken scraps on tap here.Must have thought it was the Golden Arches of McDonalds and perhaps Ada was the new special on the menu. Note to self. Buy rat poison

So lousy day but yay....Just like rats true friends sneak up on you and one did just that and turned up on the doorstep at 7.30 despite my protestations, she whisked me away to a night of friends, chat prosecco and nachos at another pals house. Got to bed much happier with a full heart and tum at 2am Tsk!
