Summer is here

Well, not real summer yet, as real summer means 35-40C and 100% humidity for about 4 months. This is kind of like, pre-summer, where the temperatures are about 22-26C, somewhat low humidity and nice breezes. I love this weather and wish it was the real summer!
Every year, I spend the hottest part of the Tokyo summer on a little semi-tropical island here in Japan, called Hachijojima. I swim in the sea every day, go hiking in the mountains, and just am all around lazy for a month. This year will be different, as I am leaving for Vancouver on July 24th, planning on returning on Sept. 2nd. I will miss my lovely island, but we will have an amazing time in Vancouver! :)
