Village path?

Well Stoke Newington in Hackney, East London would have been a village once.  This is right next to the charming Old Church, next to Clissold Park. This church has become an arts venue:  http://theoldchurch.org.uk/about/:  and in fact my friend is singing there in a couple of weeks' time.
