Afternoon walk

We met the family down at the bay for an extended birthday Cooper loves the mini golf and the train ride.
It was bitterly cold and not many takers for either event!
After they went home Rob and I went for a walk around the cliffs, the sea was choppy not knowing which way to go, while we walked towards the rocks there were a few huge waves breaking and sending up spray as high as the cliffs but alas when I was close enough to take a shot the sea had no big waves to offer even though we waited for a while until we had to move on for fear of freezing to the spot!
This shot was when the surf rushed through a gap in the rocks.
