Andy's birthday today! We had a birthday breakfast, a walk and an ice cream before we got the train back to Edinburgh. We had a lovely weekend with Andy's parents. My mum surprised us at York by getting on the train with us as far as Darlington- just so we could have a chat! It was really nice, she had just got back from holiday and it was lovely to see her. I'm not sure how much the rest of the quiet coach appreciated us though!
