I like doing arts and crafts with rocket boy. (I haven't really started doing them with starry girl too, though I should really include her rather than only getting the paint out while she's asleep.)

I try to focus on the process, rather than the end result, so that he learns to enjoy the experience - what paint feels like, what marks different things make, etc.
