Cushie-doos

Cushie-doo is the Scottish name for a wood pigeon.
Today I went up to Forres to visit some people and I took this photo of these two in a garden.
I think they look pretty miserable.
Do you think this is because:
1. The weather was dreich - wet and miserable
2. They wanted me to take a photo of their right side
3. They didn't like my singing of this great song  I heard on the radio in the morning!!!!!
