One of the benefits to steady rain is plenty of drips. This is a falling drip and the tip of a leaf from the Fijian Firebush in my backyard. I stood resting an umbrella on my shoulder waiting for drips to fall but my strike rate was around one in 50. I can't tell you how many just before and just afters I got. I used the off body flash for this and eventually when I could not hold my arms up any more, I got the tripod which made it a lot easier but did nothing for the strike rate.
Watched a bit of the gathering around the Thames on the news tonight. Londoners all seem to be getting into the spirit. Hope you are all having a good weekend.
