Natural Confetti

This beautiful blossom tree, outside the White Lion Hotel in Hebden Bridge, has sadly been battered by today's wind and rain.    The pavement is covered by the petals and when I passed this afternoon children were thoroughly enjoying themselves by picking them up and tossing them in the air.   Just like confetti.
