Good weather for some

Just not for others - the weather has been horrid today, the wind so destructive, our beautiful white poplar tree has lost quite a major branch, it had survived so many storms over the last few years and this freak May high winds have snapped off quite a significant part and I am very very sad!

I haven't been very well today - 3 day craft fairs make me so stressed and even though I had a lot of appreciative people and buyers, nothing like I usually have, in fact, everyone suffered, everyone's takings were down, I often wonder why people bother going to craft fairs if they're not going to properly look!  I love how some stand 2 metres away as they're walking by... it's almost like they're afraid I'm going to bite?!  Anyhow, I managed to get outside to call Louie (no sign but he has been around, I just guess he decided it's just still too windy this evening) but I found this snail instead, totally oblivious of the high winds and lashing rain above him/her... I thought, I'd so love a slow and not a care in the world life like that, but perhaps not as a snail... ;) xx
