Hummingbird in the Bokeh

24/365 - I was outside this evening planting flowers when I got a text message from work saying I'm not needed tomorrow, and I am ever so grateful!  I'm going to go get river rock and build a new rock garden around my koi pond.

Today's May photo-a-day is 'bird'. 

The first of my extras for today is one that I've cropped in tight, so technically not a great photo, but I was fascinated by the way his ruby throat actually looks like jewels!  The second one is just cause I liked the surreal feel.
