Our house is haunted.

The ghost is that of a small boy who died one Halloween. So it is both scary and tragic.

At the time of his death, the boy was dressed as a rather unconvincing ghost (he was wearing a (fitted) sheet). So, as well as being scary and tragic, his ghost is, unfortunately, rather comical.
