Evening all,

a hot and cloudless saturday morning found me kneeling on the decking trying to have a play at a bit of macro photos, first on manual with the macro lens, then on the macro setting on the DSLR with a normal lens.

Suddenly the birds in the trees grow silent, the shape of winged beasts are wheeling in lazy circles over the house, then theres a bit of an inflight intermezzio between the three.

Two head off in the direction of Wortley, one decides to have a little lift in the thermals above my house.....

Oh excitement, rush inside, camera bag open, lens thrown all over, get the telelphoto, no time for a tripod, point,aim,shoot.....

realize the setting is still on macro, feel foolish, go in, in a huff!!!
