Fairlie Heron 1

I'm convinced that herons can hear the button going down on my camera and are usually off before it clicks, but this one posed patiently for a few seconds beside the beach at Fairlie on Monday, giving me just enough time to compose it in the viewfinder of my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 compact camera.
