Wet and Wetter Still

It has been raining heavily all day. For a photograph today I decided to go to the Wintergardens at Duthie Park. Had quite a long chat about holidays with one of the gardeners. He had been to Sorrento last year, and was planning a couple of holidays in Spain this year. He commented that as his children were now grown up he was free to do what he liked.

Despite several photos taken in the shelter of the glass houses I have opted for this as it better sums up the day. I took this in the shelter of the doorway of the Wintergardens, despite a bit of a fight with the automatic doors which were trying to insist on closing despite me standing in the way. It could almost have brought back a brief memory of travelling on the London Underground in the distant past.
