Blown to bits

I went delivering voting forms in neighbouring villages this afternoon, the wind was awful but this pretty cottage still has all its flowers intact.
No, not General Election forms - W.I. forms! We have called for a vote at our next meeting to switch our evening meetings to daytime during the winter months.  Our membership is ageing and this change may encourage better attendance if it is approved.  It does of course prohibit younger women from joining if they work or have family commitments but if the change goes ahead we will look for a solution to that problem by possibly offering to launch a brand new WI that will cater for them.
