Nosing Around

Another day of sunshine and showers. I headed up to the moor to see what it might deliver. I caught a wonderful rainbow at Bowerman's Nose a few years ago but not today, it was the showers that were lacking. The sun came out for a little while to light up the monolith. There are legends about Bowerman's Nose of course. It's Bowerman the Hunter who has been turned to stone after upsetting some witches. You can read about it here but I shouldn't bother if you're of a witchy or even a Welsh disposition.
