Living Lands
Today 2 members of the Education team and 2 from the Falconry team went to Detling showground to exhibit in the interactive zone for Living Lands. This is all about teaching the 3000 visiting children about the land. Lots of livestock, birds, hatching chicks, seed growing, fish in tanks, working dogs and of course Tudor Falconers, Tudor girls and 4 birds of prey. I took loads of photos, the best of which will appear on the Leeds Castle Education Facebook page tomorrow, but for my blip I settled on Mozart. A European Eagle Owl, He was a great hit with the children.
I would have liked to add an extra photo of the team but seem unable to do so :(
