Happy 30th Birthday to our elder son today!

Another busy day of work meetings concluded with a celebration in this Edinburgh New Town hotel's panoramic bar. 

The  stunning view looks north over the Edinburgh Georgian New Town towards Leith and the Firth of Forth. The coast of Fife can be clearly seen beyond.

The better weather should help the turnout for tomorrow's General Election. It will be good to get to the ballot boxes again, after all the pre-election information we have received. (Won't be long before we are back at the ballot again for the Holyrood Elections in 2016!)
