Harvest of Cylindra Beetroot

Bought some beetroot seedlings and was surprised to see the beetroots didn’t grow the way I thought they should  - they are stump rooted rather than round. It turns out they are a particular variety Cylindra beetroot. This one was huge - and I though my cup of tea might help to illustrate.

Everything seems to grow so well and so easily in New Zealand!
