Serious Fun

Matt headed off to school all togged-up for Red Nose Day this morning. As you can see, it appears to be a serious business! But as he trundled down the road in his kilt, Mo said there was a real carnival atmosphere, with all the kids having a great time.

It's easy to be cynical about things like Red Nose Day: personally, I think the funny-but-corrosive humour of The Office has a lot to answer for. But seeing Matt this morning was a real antidote.

Have a good RND, everybody. I intend to be working on my own red nose in the Barony Bar tonight with Hiraeth - belatedly wetting H2's head.
