Soggy Sunday

Braved the drizzle to do some more work on the pond. It wasn't cold but was pretty wet. The sun almost looked as if it was going to break through at one point but then the rain got heavier and we decided to give in. The next step is putting in the reservoir for the separate little water feature and we didn't want to rush it and make a poor job of it.

This clematis seed head was looking quite sparkly in the rain. There was a family of baby blue tits in the tree at the back of the garden. The adults were raiding the trees for insects and feeding the fluffy yellow babies. One of adults did investigate our newly re-roofed and re-sited bird box. We finally managed to find a relatively cat-free location for it.

All four of us off to the pictures tonight to see Prometheus in 3D and in the VIP seats of the local cinema. Nice to be doing something as a family again.
