Beach Sculpture at Cleveleys

We hardly ever go to the coast on Bank Holidays - far too crowded! But, today we made an exception - and I'm so glad we did as it was a glorious day.
We took our daughter's friend with us, who had stayed overnight. We weren't sure about two teens in Cleveleys - its a very small child or older people place. After buying ice creams for us all, we left them to wander down the prom and along the beach for an hour or two. My daughter said they really enjoyed walking, throwing pebbles back into the sea, and of course, lots of chatting. We did much the same, but in the opposite direction, to give them some space.
The weather was glorious for early May. After dining on a fish and chip supper - our perfect day came to an end.... in a traffic jam near Garstang!
