Cadman's Cottage, 1816 (Sydney)

Cadman was a Coxswain appointed in 1827 - not the first. The Coxswain ran the small fleet of official boats, crewed by convicts, bringing in almost everything needed by the colony. Originally it had a small sandy beach in front it it. Now it stands amongst modern buildings and is a little further from the water.
