One of the interesting things about living in a cosmopolitan society (Longsight, where I live when in the UK, is only 20% white) is to see integration really working. How else to balance extreme Islamic behaviour (not in my experience a feature of Longsight life) with the adoption of 'Western' habits that challenge traditional Muslim culture. Todays blip is just one example of integration in practice.
