Egyptian Geese: fledgling!
Back blip.
The goslings/fledglings are looking absolutely wonderful: they're still growing spectacularly quickly, and are now so large that they strike a similar profile to their mother, and when grazing it is now quite easy to lose her among her young.
They're flapping their wings a lot now, and treating me to many cute little flappy-dances as they practise exercising their flight muscles and bounce along in a slightly out-of-control manner.
I did capture quite a few fledglings mid-dance, but liked this photo because I had caught the fledgling's eye mid-stretch, and I think it shows off its plumage well (including its still downy back).
They really do look like little geese now.
