Smart Vortex

I was at a stoplight and saw the Smart's reflection in the doorway of this ornate apartment building entrance. The need to act quickly was at hand, because the vortex was beginning to swirl. Praise be the light turned green.

Last night's movie was the 1980 Altered States with William Hurt. Layne and I have not seen it since then, and we both agreed not remembering pretty much 90% of it. We knew he went into the tank a wee bit too much, and I remember him do hallucinogenic bonding with the Mexican Indians.
But the whole vortex in the lab scene with his wife, and eating the lamb at the Boston zoo were new experiences.
