A day in May!

Today I sent an email to the 'wrong' Clare… ooops

Never mind.. the blossom is looking beautiful - here quietly flouncing at Bolling Hall Museum - Bradford.

Listened to Radio 2 at lunchtime.. 100 years ago today nearly 1200 people died when the Lusitania sank within 18 minutes of being hit by a torpedo.

And today of course 70 years ago the act of military surrender was signed by Germany in Reims, France.

What a day!
