Election Day
I had a wonderful free day, which involved shopping therapy (a bag for my various up-coming travels and a pair of shoes), lunch with a couple of school friends - so funny as we were all squinting at the menu (we'd never envisioned that all those years ago!) and then I parted company from them, got out my camera and took a few shots as I crossed from the South Bank up to the National Portrait Gallery. Westminster was heaving with tourists and I hadn't realised quite what a big thing selfie sticks are - hence today's blip. Number 10 was already getting besieged by photographers but unfortunately my shot of one at the gate of Downing St chatting to a policeman wasn't quite the shot I had hoped for. Oh well.
