A butterfly day :)

Had a really good fun day at school today. The butterfly garden is growing slowly .....English lavender and lots a wild flower seeds planted to encourage butterflies and bees once they settle in and start to flower. The children had great fun digging and planting.
Then this afternoon we re-homed our 30 caterpillars! They are Painted Lady caterpillars and arrived by post in a box with little tubs etc. we now have 30 tubs with a caterpillar in each and each child did one. Now we watch and wait ! Very exciting !!!!
