Blackcap

I had one of my little moments today when I was hoping to see a blackcap and one flew out of the shrubs beneath my feet, right there and then.  It was actually the female that flew up into the tree but she gave her fella away as she flew in next to him.  

Although he wasn’t too keen to come out from behind the twig, he did eventually turn round to have his photo taken.

Despite being LBJs, I do think they’re rather handsome.
