A Very Pleasant Saunter Home

There is one good side-effect of the election mania that many of us find quite tiresome and voting in a small village like ours, and it is that our little village comes alive. Our polling station is at the other end of the village in the church and on the ten minute walk down to vote we have seen more of our neighbours that we would see on any other evening and so stopping for a chat made for a very pleasant saunter home again in the evening sunshine.
