Statue and Pond, Altamont Gardens.

One of the penalties of being on the camera club competitions committee is that four letter word "work".
Today I drove the 65km to Altamont Gardens in County Carlow in order to plan the next event which will be our "Photo Hunt". The basic idea is simple enough. Each competitor will be handed a packet of 10 photos at their start time. Over the next couple of hours they must find the subjects and do their best to produce an identical version of each shot. Not all that easy to do. The winner received a small trophy and the dubious honour of setting next years course.
Today I was shooting this years photos. No, I didn't win it last year. The guy who did, is unable to spare the time so the recently retired member got the job.
It's getting late now but I'll see just how much commenting I can get done before bed time.
Almost forgot to say that the winner of the "What is it" from yesterday was "Talpa" who correctly guessed that the shot was of our galvanised dustbin. "1VintageAirman" gave it a good shot too.
