Ah!!! Summer!

Liberation Day on Saturday, when we celebrate (still) the allies freeing the islands after WW2.
Lots of people still remember and they are fascinating to listen to.
Of course it is also an excuse (if we needed one) for a big street party in town.
Lots of grumbling also because lots of entertainment will take place on the North Beach car park so, inevitably, some people are grumpy about it!
For one day I think we can manage without so many car parking spaces and just have fun....we will probably go on our bikes which will be fun!
These old lifeboats came for the fun and have pride of place in the marina.
The roads are also full of 2nd WW trucks, cars and motorbikes....all pretty fascinating to watch and hopefully blip!
