We left it until quite late to cast our votes this evening - the light was fading. Unfortunately my camera was without SD card so I had to shoot Harriet using my phone - hence the poor quality of the photo. It was her first vote in a general election.

Several of the community buildings that I manage were being used as Polling Stations and organising the opening at 6:00 am and closing at 10:00 pm is always a challenge.  Two of the buildings presented an extra challenge. Blocked drains at one and a damaged gas supply pipe at another. It makes life interesting.

I don't think I will be staying up into the early hours to see the results.
