Bodyguards

The ducks tolerate the rabbits, although every now and again they get irritated by them and the rabbits are seen running hell for leather away from a fast moving snaky black neck and snapping bill.

What intrigues me is that when the ducks are snoozing the rabbits creep slowly closer to them. I'm not sure why, all I can think is they reckon they are somehow safer from passing cats and birds of prey by keeping close to the ducks.
