Another Wet Day

So disappointing to have yet another wet day for our time away in the caravan. You would have thought that May would be nice. I remember a year when my children played in the sea on a Scottish beach at this time of year.

The weather didn't spoil my enjoyment of being away, it just meant I didn't get the shots I wanted.

I listened to the rain on the caravan roof and simply stayed in bed until 10am! The only sensible thing to do today was to look for an indoor activity with the possibility of retail therapy and the probability of a latte. We headed to Windermere and a visit to Lakeland Ltd.

We were rewarded by a dry return trip and the opportunity to at least get something in the camera to blip - a view of Thirlkmere.
