Chanonry Point: Lighthouse
After an overnight stay in a B&B on the Black Isle, we had time to visit Chanonry Point this morning before heading across to Mrs Catspaw's appointment in Dingwall. Chanonry Point, which with Fort George on the opposite shore forms the entry to the Beauly Firth, is a good point for watching dolphins. Unfortunately the dolphins were not in evidence at the time of our visit, but the light on the lighthouse at the tip of the promontory made an interesting subject for a Blip.
