8 am on the first days of (another) long weekend - sleeping in? or already out of the city?
May is quite the month in France. Public holidays this year are:
Friday May 1 - May Day (and a 3 day weekend)
Friday May 8 - VE Day (and a long weekend)
Thursday May 14 - Ascension Day (and for most a "bridge" weekend)
Monday May 25 - Pentecost Monday (another 3 day weekend)

Productivity may be down, but morale is up!!
