Witches' broom and woodbine found in woodland in Bristol on Saturday. Prophetic. I'm gloomy!

Here's the calculation I've made, with 9 seats to go, of the average number of votes cast nationally for the the mainstream parties divided by the number of MPs actually elected to the House of Commons. I keep looking at them and thinking, this can't be right! Please comment if I am wrong!!

Con 34,300; Lab 40,400; SNP 26,000; Lib Dem 294,000; DUP 23,000; Sinn Fein 44,000; Plaid Cymru 60,600; UKIP 3,822,800; Green 1,333,600. (Figures based on data on Guardian website and rounded to the nearest 100.) Anybody feeling disenfranchised? And more in favour of proportional representation? There's got to be a better system than this!
