Ooh what a night!

What a historic election - Samantha can cancel the movers, three party leaders are to resign, and the Conservatives have actually won by a majority this time. I must admit to feeling a frisson of sympathy when I saw Nigel Farage's face as the results for his seat came in which he embarrassingly lost to the Tory candidate. Poor UKIP and Lib Dems,  they have done so badly, whereas Nicola Sturgeon must be feeling so proud of her party's results.

As we say goodbye to Ed Balls, Vince Cable, Charles Kennedy, George Galloway and other big names we wait in anticipation to see the cabinet that Mr Cameron chooses, unencumbered this time by having to share the seats amongst a coalition government. I wonder if Boris Johnson will get a post?

So my image today had to be something blue...and another forget-me-not which is very appropriate in reminding David Cameron not to forget his election promises. Or will they be like my extra shot today, about to be blown away in the wind?
