Rhododendron

We have so many Rhododendrons which are either pink or red, and  all are very beautiful but this is the only yellow one, and as such is my favourite  - purely because it's the only one.  It happens to be the shrub where many birds seek a bit of security before hopping off onto the feeder

The Woodpecker looks particularly fetching when he's up against these yellow blooms, so fingers crossed that I'll be able to manage a blip with some sort of  bird in situ before they all fade away
