Room With A View

After a huge day at work I rushed off to a cocktail party at a lovely place by the river. Managed to get there a little bit early which left me time to walk around and take photos before the whole thing got underway!

I was on the Burswood side of the river near the Casino looking across to the city just a few minutes after the sun had set. It's a lovely mild night and it was so peaceful there by the water after the madness of my day!

This view is from inside near the water table and I've put a slightly different view from the same spot but outside by the water for my extra shot. There's quite a bit of smoke in the sky from a prescribed burn happening south of Perth today.

Just a bit of trivia for the cricket fans the huge monoliths slightly left of the city are the massive lights at the WACA grounds, home of cricket in Western Australia, it's not lit up as there's nothing going on there tonight! :)
