Cactime

The Malvern 'Spring Festival' starts today which is going to mean a busy weekend for us, so we went to the show today.  We'd got a moderate list of things to purchase, and purchased a completely different list, as you do.

Several glorious displays of cacti.  Something we know basically nothing about but are considering replacing the 'inside garden', which hasn't worked well with perennials, as a cactus bed.   One very friendly cactus stall holder came up for a cup of tea and a chat after the show, and is going away to think what plants would suit the patch.

The 'show gardens' were ok, but completely overshadowed by one particular show garden of a Mediterranean garden (extra photo) which, unsurprisingly, was labelled 'Best in show'.
