Well, what a day!

I'd managed to accurately predict the Scotland seats - 56 for SNP is phenomenal. So much respect for what they have achieved. I also was pretty much spot on with my Northern Ireland predictions too.

But who would have thought there'd end up being a majority Tory government? We'd all been considering hung parliaments and various options. I genuinely didn't think they would win with an outright majority.

The entire day has been taken over with election coverage. It's been an interesting and eventful day. Well I do work in public affairs!

The whole office went out for lunch though to take a break. We went to The Lioness of Leith on Duke Street. It was amazing - I had a burger with smoky bacon and Brie in a brioche bun - best burger I've had in a while. The cocktails definitely look like something that needs checking out, when we don't have to go back to work afterwards that is!
