Sorted

We don't usually watch TV during the day, but today was different as the results of the general election unfolded. It was compulsive viewing.
But I didn't just sit there, I spent my time sorting through some costume jewellery. This basket has been gathering dust in my bedroom for twenty-three years and today was the first time I felt able to delve in and see what was there. It was an interesting collection because my daughter had rather wacky taste. I am sure she would be glad that I have at last sorted it all out, (why have you kept all this stuff, Mum?). I have kept a few pieces that I might wear myself, I have a bag of beads and bits that will go into my jewellery making box and there is a bag to go to the charity shop. A job well done.
Meanwhile the repercussions of the election are still being thrashed out on TV.
